Windridge Therapeutic Equestrian Center of East Texas, Inc.

Windridge strives to enhance the quality of life of children and adults with a mental, emotional, or physical disability, or debilitating situation, and to make a positive difference in the lives of our volunteers and staff.

Windridge is a non-profit community supported 501(c)(3) organization that operates the only fully accredited therapeutic horsemanship program in the North East Texas region. Windridge is a premier accredited center with the North American Riding for the Handicapped Association (NARHA).

Founded in 1988, Windridge is making great strides in children and adults lives through therapeutic horsemanship programs, which provides an opportunity for advancement in speech, occupational and physical therapies, academics, and life skills. Windridge's therapeutic horsemanship programs are funded by individuals, civic organizations, and corporations. Donations received in support of these programs are investments in lives of children and adults with disabilities. Windridge's state of the art facility design specifically for therapeutic riding and its related programs is an East Texas landmark. Windridge is home to more than 140 participants and 70+ volunteers a week, 8 full time staff members and 22 horses.
